This privacy statement explains how Berry Hot ("BerryHot", "we", "us") handles your personal data when you use berryhot.eu, contact us, or place a (pre-)order.

What we collect

• Pre-order / order data: name, email, items and quantities reserved, and (when checkout opens) delivery address and payment confirmation.
• Contact form data: name, email, subject and message.
• Technical data: basic usage/device information collected by our website host, and cookie data (see below).

We do not store full payment-card details — payments are handled by a third-party payment provider.

Why we use it and our legal basis (GDPR/AVG)

• To process and fulfil your (pre-)order — performance of a contract.
• To answer your contact messages — our legitimate interest in responding to you.
• To email you about availability, shipping and your reservation — contract and, for marketing updates, your consent.
• To keep tax and transaction records — legal obligation.
• To secure and improve the website — legitimate interest.

Who we share it with (processors)

We use trusted providers who process data on our behalf under data-processing agreements, including our database/hosting provider, website platform, a spreadsheet/record service, an email service, and — at checkout — a payment provider. Some may process data outside the EU; where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Only as long as necessary; transaction/tax records for 7 years as required by Dutch law. Marketing-contact data until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time — get in touch through our Contact page. You may also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

We use functional cookies needed for the site to work. If we use analytics/tracking cookies, we ask consent first via a cookie banner, and you can change your choice anytime.
