Your statutory right of withdrawal
For most online purchases, consumers in the EU have 14 days to withdraw without giving a reason.
Why food is different
Under Dutch and EU consumer law (BW art. 6:230p), the right of withdrawal does not apply to: goods that are perishable or have a limited shelf life; and sealed goods that, for health or hygiene reasons, are not suitable to be returned once the seal is broken. Our marmalade falls under both, so delivered or opened jars cannot be returned or refunded, except as below.
When we will replace or refund
Get in touch through our Contact page within 14 days of delivery if your order arrives damaged or broken, you received the wrong item, or the product is defective or not as described. Send a photo where possible. We'll arrange a replacement or a full refund, including return costs where applicable.
Pre-orders
Because no payment is taken at the pre-order stage, you can cancel a pre-order at any time before payment by contacting us — at no cost.
Refund method and timing
Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 14 days of us agreeing the refund.
