Sur un cracker

D’abord le fruit. Le piquant arrive tard et repart tôt.

La fraise, avec derrière le jalapeño et le poivron rouge grillés. Assez de piquant pour ceux qui aiment les saveurs relevées, parti assez vite pour les autres.

This jam doesn’t last long in my house. The base is a proper strawberry preserve spiked with roasted jalapeño. The result is a sweet-heat balance that’s warm and rounded. Honestly haven’t found a food it clashes with and i’m consistently pairing it with new things . It works anywhere you’d want a little sweet-heat contrast, whether that’s breakfast, a cheese board, or dinner.
